I’ve been hearing in my Spirit that this will be the year of God as The Father.
A year of the Lord Fathering His children to bring healing to wounds that have for decades been awaiting the presence of the Father. The state of society encountering the love of the Father. The hearts of those orphaned in spirit finding identity in the security of the Father.
The Fathering of a world desperate for a true Father, the tenderness of a good Father and the guidance of a wise Father. The year of God manifesting His presence as Heavenly Father, Identity Giver and the True Source of Kingdom Inheritance.
It was the Father that sent the Son as Redeemer and Deliverer, Savior and King. The promise of Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Mighty God and Everlasting Father is a reality that many will come to know in 2022.
A Year of
The Father heart of God chasing down the one lost out of the ninety nine
The Father of inheritance pouring out His blessings
The Father of discipline teaching His children with heavenly wisdom and direction
The Father of identity releasing destiny and calling
The Father who is present and available
The Father who is safe and secure
The Father of adventure guiding His children into exploits of greatness
The Father who runs down the road to meet the prodigal coming home
The Father who shares His secrets with His children in friendship
The Father that knows when to have His children follow and when He needs to carry them
The Father who sent His son to reconcile the world, not to condemn it but to save it.
For those that have not had an example of a good Father, the Lord wants to show you what it’s like to be Fathered by His heart, healing wounds with His goodness. For those who missed a present earthly Father, I pray this year will be one that His nearness meets that deep place in your spirit that longs to be seen and known by the Father of all creation. So, this Christmas as you celebrate the gift of His Son and as you enter into the New Year. I pray you experience the presence of God like a Father’s arms wrapped around you. I pray you hear the voice of the Creator of the Universe speaking identity over you like a proud Father. But Most of all, I pray you encounter the Love of the Heavenly Father in a way that changes everything, for you, your family and for the world!
